Welcome to NPL Teddington CC

NPL Teddington Cricket Club is based in the grounds of the National Physical Laboratory, backing on to Bushy Park, Teddington. The ground is tree-lined and totally enclosed with plenty of space for families to watch and play.

CRICKET

The 1st XI are currently playing in Division 2 of the Morrant Thames Valley League with the 2nd and 3rd XIs playing in lower divisions. The league season runs from May to early September. In addition, the 4th XI play non-league matches against local sides, where we look to introduce Colts into senior cricket.

On Sunday the club plays in the Bushy Park League against local clubs and put out a friendly side when not involved in competition.

The club has a long-standing tour to Somerset in early August, as well as regularly hosting county Colts' fixtures at the ground, and holding colts' club finals at Queen's Road.

Th Club is ClubMark accredited, and provides Coaching and Training for Colts on Sundays from April until July at our Queen's Road ground. We are running sides at U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14 and U15 levels for the 2009 season, but welcome players from the age of 7. All age groups are headed up by ECB qualified Coaches, and over the winter 3 Club members took their Head Coach exams.

Age groups up to U11 will practise on Sunday mornings from 10am to 12pm, whilst all other age groups practise midweek 6pm to 8pm - U12s Tuesdays; U13s Fridays; U14s Mondays; and U15s Fridays.

We will also be running 3 week-long Cricket Camps in the weeks of July 27-31, August 10-17 and 24-28, aimed at those age groups during the Summer Holidays. For more details please contact our Youth Development Officer, Chris Churchman on 07768 346456.
