NPL Teddington Cricket Club is based in the grounds of the National Physical Laboratory, backing on to Bushy Park, Teddington. The ground is tree-lined and totally enclosed with plenty of space for families to watch and play.
CRICKET
The 1st XI are currently playing in Division 2 of the Morrant Thames Valley League with the 2nd and 3rd XIs playing in lower divisions. The league season runs from May to early September. In addition, the 4th XI play non-league matches against local sides, where we look to introduce Colts into senior cricket. For the 2010 season, we are hoping to run Dads'n'Lads sides versus local clubs at 4th X1 level.
On Sunday the club plays in the Bushy Park League against local clubs and put out a friendly side when not involved in competition.
The club has a long-standing tour to Somerset in early August, as well as regularly hosting county Colts' fixtures at the ground, and holding colts' club finals at Queen's Road.
COLTS
Th Club is ClubMark accredited, and provides Coaching and Training for Colts on Sundays from April until July at our Queen's Road ground. For the 2010 season, we are running sides at U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15 and U17 level, but welcome players from the age of 7. All age groups are headed up by ECB qualified Coaches, which includes 2 Head Coaches,4 Level 2 and more Level 1 coaches. The Club won the prestigious 'Spirit of Cricket Award' from West Area clubs in recognition of the way the colts played their cricket.
Age groups up to U11 will practise on Sunday mornings from 10am to 12pm, whilst all other age groups will practise midweek 6pm to 8pm.
We will also be running week-long Cricket Camps during the summer holidays, aimed at those age groups. More details will be annouinced at the start of the 2010 season.
The Club will be running pre-season nets for colts at Hampton School in the Spring Term.
NEW PLAYERS

PLAYING FACILITIES
The club has 2 playing squares with a recently rebuilt clubhouse, and adjoining changing rooms which are due for renovation in the near future. A 2 lane net facility and an artificial wicket for the 2nd X1 square are now installed and in regular use. We also have a bowling machine and roll-on net for grass wicket practice and coaching.
OTHER FACILITIES
Facilities on site include tennis courts, a bowling green, five-a-side football pitch, and a full–size snooker table. The bar offers a range of real ales and food, and a committee room and function room for parties.
The club is part of the NPL Sports Club which also has tennis, senior and junior football, hockey, bowls and other sections, and hosts various events including Fireworks Night display and a Summer Ball.
